When the wires on the oil pressure gauge are backwards you will get the gauge jumping to and staying on 5 bar. There is a colored mark by one of the two connectors on the oil pressure sender. One of the wires is the same color and should connect to that lug.

You will have to use a seperate temp sensor to check the gauge.

It's quite possible that the alarm is connected to the wrong parts of the wiring harness. The S2 uses a ignition interface module between the DME and the coil. Real easy to screw the wiring up.
