I believe the green/black wire goes to your oil temp sender. You can move the ground to another location but it would be best if you could clean up and tighten the existing terminal. Put some penetrating oil on the threads. From the picture I can't tell exactly where it's at. Is that a bolt? Can you access the other side to tighten it?
