I have an '84 930 with 7"& 8" (225/50 & 245/45 16) Fuchs alloys. I would like to push the wheels further out the arches and want to know how far out I can do so before fouling the arches. I find that the stock offsets do not fill the arches enough - I think they should be pushed out another 1" front and back - and I do not like the look of any of the aftermarket wheels. Is it better to use the adapter type of spacers or just the normal spacers with longer wheel studs? Are the wheel studs Porsche specific parts or can any generic ones of the required measurements be used.

My car also has the newer "big vent"upper dash installed by the previous owner but he did not do the lower dash. How major a procedure is this i.e is it a straight swap? B.t.w, does anyone here know where I can source a cheap, black RHD lower dash?

Finally, I'm considering changing the colour of my car from white/white wheels to silver/silver wheels. Has anybody found a good colour photo of this colour combination on the web?
