a bit of a repost but I need help.
My car dies on startup. Starts but once the revs drop back down they just keep going to zero. If I apply a little bit of gas it idles and in about 5-10 seconds I can let off the gas. Not allways but sometimes it surges between 1000 and 1500 as well. If I blip the throtle to 5000rpm it comes back down and holds steady at 1000 - 1100. Still too high though...

On Warm startup the same thing happens.

Help.

Plugs look fine
Just finished a really old tank of gas (almost a year)
Plug wires a little old and have seen one arc.
New rotor and dist cap
New universal 02 sensor (could this be in play???)

I just don't know where to start....
