Yes, even with a top end rebuild, I got a good enough deal that it's still OK. I had my fears that it would need the rebuild from looking at the records and previous leakdown/compression numbers. I was kinda hoping the numbers were lying!
So, anyone wanna buy an '87 that needs a top-end rebuild? Otherwise one of the guys at RMG will buy it from me in a day or so.
