There are two critical things to get right - the first is that the idle contact is activated when the throttle is closed (tells the ECU to set the mixture for idle, activates the mixture control knob on the top of the ECU, and on some cars, activates the over-run shutoff circuit during over-run conditions), and the second is to assure there are 20 acceleration pulses over the full range of throttle movement.
