I've been tackling the dreaded clutch job on my 1987 924S. So far so good, except that I broke (or it was already broke) the reference sender bracket & one of the senders is also broke. This was purely my fault in trying to remove the clutch housing as it was so tight up in that area!
So I went to order the new bracket & sender and there appears to be 2 types for that year of 924S.
Part # 944.123.101.03 is the part out of my car
I called the dealer to find that part & he said that was the wrong part and I should order 944.123.101.07. I ordered it and am waiting for it's arrival (next week).
Now I'm looking for the reference sender & came across 2 different ones. The one I broke is 0.261.210.003 but their is another one 911.606.108.00 that is also listed for the same year car. They both look a little different. Now I'm wondering if the bracket I ordered is for the 911 sender?
Anyone know any details about these senders & brackets?
Any help would be great, as I'd really like to get this car back together & see if all the work has really paid off!
Thanks,
