Help! 3.2 won't start
Here's the symptoms -
Turn the key, turn overs, fires, and dies in a few seconds. Sometimes hange on for a few more seconds. Almost like a stuck choke in the old days, or an engine that's flooded.
Here's my theory - I'm a hack and I don't want prejudice any opinions but here goes.
While replacing the all four shocks in my car. by my typical method ,( insufficient tools, no lift, no air wrench, and little eperience) I think I damaged the connector to the CH temp sensor.
While wrestling with the left side top shock nut, I looked down and saw the white connector for the CHTS hanging loose. I plugged it back in and forgot about it.
Feeling the connector boot, it seems like there might be a damaged wire inside.
Would a disconnected CHTS cause these no start symtoms?
CHTS replced with the newer version previously. Can I splice the wires after I look under the boot?
Anything other ideas?
( Care was running great before the shocks)
Inputs appreciated.
