[DCMCGO1965]

I have no problems with acceleration when I first start the car but if I turn it off and start it while it is still warm there is no acceleration or power. Once it cools off it is fine. The check engine light is on and the code is "cam sensor fault". Can a faulty sensor cause this problem or maybe something more serious. When I bought the car used the power steering fluid was low. Is the power steering fluid used in the VANUS system? Could I have air in the system that may be causing the sensor fault?
