24" too low?
I am looking for some input!
I bought another 88' 911 and want to reverse some of the changes previous owners made. The car has 17" C 2 wheels (made for the 964 model) and was lowered in the rear to 23" from the ground to the center of the rear wheel well. I want to drive this car on the street most of the time, maybe an occasional drivers ed or autocross day. Which height is the best? The factory setting I believe is 25.5", I also read somewhere that this was usually adjusted down by one inch as soon as the cars hit US showrooms, that would make it 24.5". Is the height just personal preference or are there practical reasons to stick to a certain setting? Thanks
