Hi,
I just jammed the door lock on my SC two days ago. I did this by locking it when the door wasn't completely closed.
Trying to unlock the door with the key didn't work and nor did it release by turning the lock/unlock dial inside.
I ended up popping the little cover off the dial with my finger nail then when turning the screw with a phillips to remove the dial, the lock released. I may have forced it though as when I removed the dial (and the round plastic cup it sits in) I could see that a little plastic sleeve had fallen off of the end of the lock's vertical rod, where it inserts into a hole in the lock mechanism. I guess it dropped behind the door panel. Now looking to find another plastic sleeve (didn't see it on Pelican yet).
