With the recent woes I had had with my throttle, I have come across several other questions and issues with my pedal cluster. First thing I noticed is that my clutch pedal is a little sloppy on the release, but then I noticed this:
It looks like a boss with a detent for a spring, with a matching one at the back of the pedal cluster. Am I missing some sort of clutch pedal return spring on my car?
The next issue has to do with the brake light microswitch. Is this what it is supposed to look like?
My washer that the switch actuates off of is pretty ghetto at this point. Is it supposed to be so flimsy? Is there an easy way to replace it?
