Yep, same boat here. I need to get off my arse and take it to get a state inspection sticker. I did drive it last Friday for the first time since I don't remember when. Reminded me why I like the car so much, until the shift lever gave up the ghost on the freeway in rush hour traffic.
It was stuck in third, but I made it the last 12 miles home.
Lucky for me I changed lanes at the correct times and keep moving along. The clutch was only abused one time at a stop sign.
Shifter is now fixed.
