I think your definition will cause problems because something can be "unexplained" without necessarily being "not from Earth".

I firmly believe that very credible witnesses have seen things that cannot be explained by "swamp gas" or "ball lightning" or whatever. Does that mean that these are craft from another planet? No. But it is a very interesting phenomemon.
