Nobody seems to care that one beat up cab can spew more pollutants than 50 well running cars - so what is the 20% fewer toxins and smog causing pollutants really going to do??
As for 30% less carbon dioxide - that is nothing less than a fuel economy standard. The least polluting car in the world is still going to have water vapor and CO2 coming out of the tail-pipe.. Why dont they just crank up the price of gas until consumption goes down 30% and let the free market take care of itself?
