I can't help with the exact colors but a few years ago someone on this board was painting caps for a price, you might be able to find him with a search and find out what colors he used.
Also, Dianne at Al Reed polishing hand paints caps, they polished my caps and then she hand painted the crests for $15 each. They came out very nice. Just another option.
