If you blindly buy the welfare myth of generational welfare, I'll warn you ahead of time that it's going to take volumes of raw data as well as validated scientific interpolations to uproot the facts I acquired in college.
Show me your myth is real, and I will listen.
This rule goes for all myths, nothing against you or yours.
I'll throw you a bone:

This law included provisions for limiting welfare receipt by young mothers, including requiring teen mothers to live at home with their parents. Since the passage of this Act, there has been a drastic reduction in the number of recipients of welfare. Nationally, there has been a 50 percent decline in the number of welfare recipients from 1996 to 2002 (Committee on Ways and Means, 2004)............................This study examines these issues in order to determine if making welfare less available to relatively young women appears likely to change their probability of being married or their level of economic well-being later in life. We focus particularly on young women because it has been hypothesized or inferred that the negative effects of welfare may be more severe for young recipients (Mead, 1986; Murray, 1984; Tanner, 1996)..........................Research examining the intergenerational use of welfare has generally found that adults whose parents used welfare may be more likely to themselves use welfare (An et al., 1993; Dolinsky, Caputo & O'Kane, 1989; Gottschalk, McLanahan, & Sandefure, 1994; Hill and Ponza, 1989; McLanahan, 1988; Rank and Cheng, 1995). Gottschalk (1992) and Vartanian (1999) found that for blacks, but not whites, parental welfare receipt strongly predicted welfare receipt of the daughter,

I have not read all eight pages, but there might be a small amount of "transference" due to economics and education. Please read it all, and let me know.
