Thanks guys for the tips, I had the chance to spend a few minutes working on the 914 and i have checked the air flow meter switch and it does in fact activate the pump and i feel the fuel pressure building instantly in the lines when i move the flap. But when i move the flap and crank the motor, i still have no fuel squirting out of the injectors. i have one injector outside the manifold for that purpose. To my understanding it is nessecary to have all vacum connections and hoses in place and making a secure conection.
This is not the case here. Some of the hosees are cracked and some of them are hanging loose being too short to make to the there destination. Do I have to have all this done before i can have fuel squirting out of the injectors???. I am not trying to get the motor to run at this point but i am trying to save the injection system. I have a set of dual carbs but i will hate to have to install it. I rather keep it stock.
What should be my next step guys? Fix all the tubes or start trouble shooting electrical connections and wires? or both.(i swapped brains but made no difference) that is the only fuel injection system spare part that i own.
Thanks again for all the help...
