Differ again. Our goal was to kill the enemy and win the war. Rebuilding was not on any common citizens' mind and was never a goal. It was a burden for wining the war and then occupying the conquered nations.
Our goal in the war on terrorism was to kill the enemy. We have yet to do this. Instead we got sidetracked into Iraq under ultimately false pretenses.
