Paint Restoration?
Apologies in advance if this has already been discussed but I did a search and couldn't find it. My car has pretty decent paint, I would say 8/10 with 2 points off for a few scratches, rock dings, and a poorly resprayed hood. The car is the original color and I want to keep it that way.
My question is this, is there a way to improve the look of the hood without respraying the car? The hood is a good color match, but has some orange peel on it and just won't shine up like the other panels. Can I just buff this out and see how it goes? Also, with the scratches and rock dings, I am thinking of getting some touchup paint from Porsche and then polishing it after it's dry to smooth out the edges. Is this the correct method? Thanks.
