[Kanipso]

After driving the car all day, I stopped for gas. When I started it after putting $20 or so in (3 gal) : ( ... The fuel pump was very loud. Almost a grinding sound.. Pressure is still ok. (yes I have a guage installed)

This is all after a CIS to EFI conversion that went smoothly.. Could the new fuel regulator setup have added new stress to the pump causing it to go out quicker? It's set at 2.5bar..

I have also noticed the smell of gas recently.. Thoughts?
