No they weren't. Sadly they cost as much as new SSI's, but I'm thinking the short primaries might help. I'm going to try something different than the 930 route. I was planning the Protomotive 3.2 route before Merv had issues with his engine. Since that went south I was thinking of ways that I could build something to my own taste and criteria. I'm looking at using modern GT20/GT25 turbos in a pair with I/C blowing into a Carrera intake.
I don't know about DME or aftermarket ECU. I don't know low impedence or high. I haven't decided on several issues. Initiallly it looks like I'm getting a very fresh 9.3:1 engine. Regretfully its Alusil so I can't just drop a set of JE's in her. I eventually will probably either use some base shims to get her to 9:1 and or new P&C's. Might depend on where the deck height currently is set at and how much I can work with it.
PROBLEM: I will have to find a new home for my 2.7 MFI engine  someday. After I recover from this build up and finishing my low 9 sec drag car which is getting there. The sickness never ends.
