You dealt a cold blow with the Civic application; right to the heart. I came across a few ricer car cars with the standard issue coffee can muffler and found the tone to be about equal. After the encounter I wondered if I was in the same category.
Today reality hit me when a MB SLK 3.2 AMG tried to pull me and as I passed him, I sure was making quite a racket considering I wasn't flying by him. Making this much noise, the car better be flying; something my car wasn't. The sound is really great on full wail, but I need to going way faster to justify the sound.
I think guys with 427 Cobra's have the right to run loud side pipes, as well as high HP 930's with straight pipes out of the turbos; these guys can justify their bellow.
This was my last attempt to wring out the last bit of HP out of my pretty stock 3.2.
Weight wise, these units weigh @ 3lbs. combined.
I noticed one side was darker at the tip, I need to take AFR readings from both sides to see what's going on.
