I'll have too look for the link that I had found on engine detailing and clean up....but to paraphrase it had said to run the engine for just a few minutes then shut it off and spray "liberally" w/engine degreaser ( such that you would buy @ pep boys and Autozone) and let it sit for 15 minutes then wash off w/a low pressure garden hose and spray ...again"liberally" everything down w/WD-40... I noticed a huge difference...BTW
