Turbo look suspension - tie rods
Hi,
I've got an '86 Carrera Turbo look which I believe has Turbo suspension and brakes. However, in Bruce Andersons book he says that the Turbo looks didn't have the Turbo tie rods. Is this true? If not is it worth replacing them with the uprated items, will I feel a difference?
I've noticed a rumble from the gearbox which disappears when I push the clutch in, this is the thrust bearing, right? How bad can this get before it needs to be replaced, I think it's a tranny out job and expensive.
