If your car has the smog pump and air injection system in place, I *think* you are going to have to drop down one of the heat exchangers. One of the quirks of the 78 and 79s.
If you are able to do it with both heat exchangers in place (and you have the pump and air injection lines) let me know, I'd be curious.
