That is true...there are non-enthusiasts that drive boxsters that buy the car for one reason or another, but there are a good deal out there now that track/auto-X the car and they also do DIY maintence. I'm sure there are some owners...particulary 996/997 that don't have a clue about their car too... I haven't posted a pic up here yet so I'm going to give it a shot and hijack my own thread. Here is my S at an auto-x this past summer. The other is of my Dad's M5 at the same auto-X.
