Orb: I agree. Most of the "sales" that take place on Ebay are to kids just messing around. I can't tell you the number of times I see relists stating that the bidder was a deadbeat.
I would *never* *ever* buy a car off of Ebay, sight unseen. I bought some rims once - unseen - and got lucky, they turned out to be fine. But a fricken car? No way. Unless I can look at it, listen to it, drive it, and generally get a feel for it, there's WAY too many variables in a car purchase to be able to intelligently make a decision on whether it's a good deal or not.
There's still no bids on that buggy. Not surprising, since it's worth $20K at best.
