Rex, it looks like I'm screwed.

The dizzy is all the way in the slot one way and it's not enough.

When I adjust it in the only direction I can the engine slows down and wants to stall, and the timing marks mover even farther off center to the right when looking from the back to the car to the front.

Now what?

The timing marks are between 3/8" to 1/2" to the right of center depending if you want 5-12 degrees of advance at idle.

The only good news is that at 6,000 RPM it's the same 3/8" to 1/2" off to the right measurement from the tick mark on the bottom of the fan housing.
