Seems to me that some have had good success (redundant?
) having chrome plating done thru the mail. Chrome shops have all but disapperaed here in CA and I suspect in many other parts of the US as well, due to pollution and insurance. I don't think anyone can even geta permit for that kind of shop nowadays. It's all done in Mexico AFA local work is concerned.
So, anyone have a
recent and decent experience they'd like to share? I have a box full ready to go. Also, what about the return policy if not satisfied? Pay with CC, I know, but would like to know that they will do it right to begin with.
The last thing I would say on this is, one doesn't get to see what they do with your parts even if you can take them there personally, so shipping them hundreds of miles shouldn't have any effect on the deal. Just getting them back with no pitting is all I ask.
