When I was looking, the first car I drove had dodgey brakes and steering. I thought perhaps they were all like that. After all, they are over 40 years old.
However, I have to say the 63 C I finally bought is quite presice through the corners and since I had the brakes overhauled (new disks, pads and master cylinder) the brakes have been very good.
