I had installed the R lamp units a month or so ago and with this I lost the factory reverse lights. I had thought of installing some simple units under the bumper, but I wanted something that would blend with the units. I had the idea to install some matching clear LED units into the old reflector (it's already cracked and flakes falling from the back).
Many of you already know Ray, he was a big help as he sourced the 2" clear LED units with gromets. THANK YOU Ray.
Install was not very difficult, just cut a 2.25" opening in the reflector and a slightly larger opening in the metal panel behind the reflector. The LED's come with pig tails to wire in, very nice quality.
