The cool engine would be one of the 5.4L Ford they put in the new Mustangs that have over 500 rwhp with 480 ftlbs of torque and still gets 20+ mpg. It's amazing they can do that. Probably too much engine for our lightweight cars, but it sure sounds fun. Tire companies would love it. Schizachaser and I were talking about a kit for a smaller V6 GM motor....maybe the 4.3L. That would be about the right amount of power and weight and all the cheaper performance parts are readily available for that engine. The big question is whether the transmission would hold up or not. Ok, so the real questions are whether I would know when to use that power (Well...yeah...constantly) and whether I could avoid all the tickets.
