Used Gibbs on a bead blasted fan and coil bracket (mild steel) about 6 weeks ago. Notice the bracket shows no sign of rust and I live in Houston with a fairly humid environment. The fan is looking good too, but the magnesium takes longer to change color I beleive. The housing wasn't beadblasted, only cleaned up with some steel wool. Will probably paint it black next time I take the engine out.
