Yeah, it seems they suck this year, at least to this point. On a brighter note, I found out the problem with my race car Sunday. I have a BMW 2002 that I race in SCCA, ITB class. Well, my doctor wouldn't sign off on my physical 3 years ago due to high BP ( I was blaming it on reading inane Steeler-bashing posts on the OT forum, turns out it's my kidneys). I finally got my license back and raced for the first time in three years last weekend (10/1) and had a blast but my car was slow and I was bummed about that. I was about 2 1/2 seconds off my best pace all weekend and found the trouble yesterday afternoon. My car uses a Weber 32/36 progressive carb and the throttle linkage was so far out that the secondary wasn't opening! I've totally forgotten how to work on this thing after not touching it for three years. I can't wait 'til April! So, even though my beloved Steelers lost last night and may be doomed for the season and I may have to read lenny's gloating every Monday morning, I still slept like a baby last night.
