FA18's? Nope sorry Baza, you have lost me. They must all be Australian names for things yeh. Sorry, hope I don't sound rude but I just don't understand what you said to well.
Still not to sure why you need to go the long way round with central locking though. You can always get back into the car through the boot if something goes wrong. And the immobilisation would not deactivate if something went wrong with firmware by unlocking door for alarm anyway so you couldn't get it to start still. I am also an electronics tech and also have designed my own car alarms so am a little lost as to what you are trying to do. Sorry if im not making any sense, I just wanted to try and help but don't understand exactly what you are trying to do so I am confusing myself now I think. Lol. Maybe I should stay out of it before I confuse myself even more.
