The lag factor can be minimised with a number of simple upgrades, such as:
- aftermarket headers and free-flowing muffler
- aftermarket updated turbocharger (either newer KKK or Garrett ball-bearing)
- bigger more efficient intercooler.
- G50 5 spd
- EFI conversion
