Going to the track is great fun, but I have to leave the 993 Cab at the house. So, there it sits, all alone, while all its friends, the 3.6 SC and the 914-6 3.2 go off to play with other Porsches. Though current rules do not allow it to play on the track since it does not have a roll bar, I thought the Cab would be happier hanging out with other P-Cars. There had to be a way to include the 993.
After eating way too many wings and drinking way too many beers at our favorite pub near CMP, fellow DE drivers and I came up with a solution that would help the lonely 993. It involved some steel, some welding, and bigger springs, but a solution was found as seen below:
Though there has been much debate on the 911 as a tow vehicle
as seen here (
911 as a tow vehicle??) this should resolve most of the concerns.
