I had this happen to mine; fixed it by getting a new retaining bracket (that's what broke on mine). Took old bracket out, put cable into retention clip on bracket, then put the handle on the peg of the bracket, then screwed it back down. Mine was fairly self-explanitory once I got my head down there. What happened to yours, exactly?
