id10t has it.... THAT is a kit gun! I enjoyed building my first AR15 from a stripped lower and parts kit. Not too much of a challenge.

I have a front stuffer, and found it fun to shoot, but the particular one I have tends to bruise my cheek due to the shape of the buttstock.

I still use ye olde black powder, tho... but in cartridge form! I have a replica 1874 Sharps that is just fun to shoot with black powder cartridges and cast bullets (I cast my own, and lube with my own concoction!). I actually find that cleaning after shooting is MUCH easier and quicker than modern cartridge guns: just run a couple patches soaked with alchohol down the bore, then a couple clean patches. DONE!

Sometime soon, I have to get off my ass and cast some bullets and go lob some lead with that ol' smokepole.

Problem is... the rifle is damn near 5 feet long... and I just bought a Boxster... not really anywhere to transport that biga$$ gun!
