Hi,
Can anyone advise me how to tell the difference between worn inner tie rods and end play in the steering rack on my 87 924S?
I'm getting a clunking from that area on the passenger side when I move the steering wheel back and forth.

Is there any way to fix a worn steering rack with too much play between the housing and the rack?
