This story thoroughly angered me after seeing it on television. But it seems the owners, who are British, somehow allowed their Labrador to fatten up to 167 pounds. To see the poor dog walk was a travesty, and the owners, two brothers, were completely unapologetic.
Well, at least the British govt gives a damn. CBS news states the owners were fined the Pound equivalent of $30,000 - $15K each.
Poor 'ol Rusty.
