Leak from engine oil cooler despite new seals... what else to check?
I was hoping for a leak free engine, but it seems I've got a leak at the engine oil cooler. It was pretty gunked up when I had it apart so I cleaned it up and put in new seals. The top of the engine was bone dry.
Is there anything else that would be leaking in that neighborhood? I'll wait until my next oil change to investigate further, but I'm wondering if I shouldn't be tracking down a replacement cooler between now and then. The oil seems to be coming out where the cooler and the case meet.
