Is the bracket mounted correctly with the hole drilled incorrect, or is the bracket upside down? If the bracket is mounted correctly I can elongate the whole with a dermal tool.
Do you have a link to your original install thread? I have the instructions that came with the top but I would be interested in more details. Particularly if it has images of the bracket.
