A really good Targa top protectant
I was at a PCA Autocross last month and the guy I was course working with sold cleaning supplies to the marine industry.
We never got in touch after the event but he mentioned he had a great vinyl protectant for my Targa top.
Think about it, what is the worst enviroment for vinyl to be in? A marine one, salt water, relentless sun, and god knows what else working hard to try to destroy it.
So I headed over to the local Marine supply store. I found on the shelf an offering from 3M a vinyl protectant and treatment.
I used it on my car 3 weeks ago and it is still present after washing the car 2 times already. The vinyl is noticably softer and more supple than before the treatment and is still this way 3 weeks later.
I'll take a picture of the bottle and give you the 3M stock number this evening. Or maybe I'll run home for lunch.
Just thought I would pass this cool find on. This is probably a repost, but I searched a while back and never saw this.
