The project is to take an early 6-bolt crank 3.0 liter case and build a short stroke engine using 2.2 crank and rods.

the question is, what distributer to use? The early 2.2, 2.4, 2.7 cases had 27mm holes for the distributer and the dizy turned clockwise.

Does the early 3.0 Turbo case have a 27mm hole or a 30mm hole for the distributer? And does it turn clockwise or counterclockwise? If it turns counterclockwise, will the 3.0 crank distributer drive gear fit the 2.2 crank?
