It has been sometime since i have had the problem, but I believe when i finally bit the bullet, BMW replaced the vent hose, like mentioned above, and cleaned the throttle body. The hose has a slight tear in it and that messed up the mixture of air/fuel and caused all the misfires. hope this helps. if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask me
