I am digging deeper into my SC and thanks to a fellow pelicante, I found the paint color code 451-9-2; Mocha brown.

This car is currently Chiffaun or GPX white (not sure which - an offwhite color); the PO (I guess) had this car repainted? I cannot find ANY evidence that the color has ever changed (no chips, DEEEEEP inside the door jambs are white). I took the door panels off and they are white with black (as my other Porsches were).

Looking anywhere, I can find no evidence of repainting to this color, I've even taken the Targa Bar off and there is nothing showing any browhn whatsoever. It looks like it has never had anything but wax on it (no brown ANYWHERE).

Sorry for the longwinded story, but I'm kind of shocked, this car looks so original that I'm having a tough time believing it isn't the original color. Is 451-9-2 for 1979 maybe chiffaun or a beige vs mocha?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
