Unhappy Some very oily issues....

Hiya folks,

I'm having some oil-related issues I wanted to run by everyone. I'm having a hard time tracking down some leaks and spatters, and I need some help identifying what to do with some breather lines.

first of all...I've got this weird pattern of oil leaks. I finally fired the car (1st time in 4 months) over the weekend. It idled for about 15 minutes and left this:

So that's part 1. I think I can solve (by reading the archives...) this by giving the engine a good degreasing, and using some oil dye and a black light. So, consider that on the list of things to do.

I have two other issues...the first is related to the oil spatter. If you'll see by the pic, my MSD ignition (mounted on the firewall) is *soaked* in oil. Where might that be coming from?

Finally, I have switched to a later model oil tank, with the baffles, in my Project 69'er. I have some questions on where these breathers need to be connected, or what I should do with them? Can I cap them somehow? Should I?

so...that's where I am. Thanks to all for any thoughts.
