It sounds to me like:
1) something is not seated properly
2) something is installed incorrectly
3) parts mismatched
[edit: sorry - I guess that's kind of a "no ****" answer.]
BUT... I'm no expert by any stretch. Hopefully a knowledgeable G50 mech will comment.
